Last Sunday our Director, Jon Woliter, completed the Derby 10K raising over £400 for Sam's Superheroes. Jon was more than happy with his performance, completing the run in a time of 53 minutes 49 Seconds, he had this to say -
"It was an absolute privilege to have been able to raise over £400 for Sam’s Superheroes, highlighting Sam’s and Rachel’s heart breaking story, and Sam’s courage in having to live through such an ordeal. Sam’s story is something that NO family should have to live through, that’s why its so very important that we continue to raise awareness of F.I.R.E.S and the devastating impact it can have on families.
The proceeds will go towards helping fund animal assisted therapeutic activities and the small Therapy Dog service, provided by Sam’s dog, Daisy.
Thank you to all those that made donations and like me, I know so many of us have been particularly touched by Sam’s experience and wanted to do whatever we could for such a great cause."
Donations are still being accepted until Monday, if you would like to donate then you can do so here: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/jon-woliter-sam
